At first there was only the valley. Then came the man, who over time built a new world on the place, changing the ecosystem and forcing nature to coexist with transportation, buildings, factories, advertising, progress, stress and other human inventions.

This has shaped a complex and changing sound environment, which is collected using a map that would approach us, through listening, to our history, culture and daily manners. Valley’s life narrated through sounds.

Initial focus is Medellín (main city), but the long-term plan is to cover the whole Aburrá Valley.

En un principio solo existía el valle. Luego llegó el hombre, quien con el paso del tiempo construyó un nuevo mundo sobre el lugar, cambiando así el ecosistema y forzando a la naturaleza a convivir con medios de transporte, edificios, fábricas, publicidad, progreso, estrés y demás inventos humanos.

Esto le ha ido dando forma a un entorno sonoro complejo y cambiante, el cual se busca recopilar en un mapa que, mediante la escucha permita lograr un acercamiento directo a nuestra historia, cultura y costumbres diarias. La vida del valle narrada por medio de sonidos.

Inicialmente el foco es Medellín (ciudad principal), pero a largo plazo se planea cubrir todo el Valle de Aburrá.
